Travel West to Kanchanaburi, a province rich in culture and history, where you’ll swim in waterfalls, bathe Elephants in an ethical setting, eat delicious Thai cuisine, and take in some of Thailand’s most famous historical sights. Then back to the big city again for some further Bangkok adventures before you jet out on your next travels. See a side of Thailand that most don’t get to see!

You have always dreamed about coming face to face with an Elephant, but doing so in an ethical way or you're looking to dip your toes in stunning rivers and waterfalls. Morning pick-up from hotel and drive approx 90 minutes out of Bangkok to one of Thailand’s most famous floating markets. Enjoy a boat ride through the market as you indulge in delicious cuisine and purchase any souvenirs that your heart desires! Afterwards you will travel to Bangkok’s railway market, set on the tracks of a railroad and watch as the vendors prepare for the train to come straight through! You will then be dropped back at your hotel which will allow time for you to explore the backpacker district and Khao San Road nightlife.
Check out and morning pick-up from your hotel for the drive west to Kanchanaburi (approx 3 hours). Upon arrival you will check in to your hotel and be picked up to visit Kanchanaburi’s famous World War II cemetery and the Bridge Over the River Kwai. Spend the rest of the day by the pool or explore the local night markets of this beautiful city!
Morning pick up and bus ride to an ethical Elephant Sanctuary (approximately 1 hour). Here you will learn about what it takes to care for these beautiful creatures and care for them yourself in the form of feeding and bathing. At the end of your experience you will be dropped back off at your hotel which will give you plenty of time to enjoy another evening by the river.
Morning pick-up and bus ride to Erawan Waterfall (approximately 1 hour). Erawan is a 7 layer waterfall, each layer offering a different and uniquely beautiful scene and perfect for swimming! Enjoy this gorgeous hike up to the 7th fall and then travel back to the city and spend the remainder of your day taking in all Kanchanaburi has to offer before returning to Bangkok tomorrow!
Morning pick-up and bus ride back to Bangkok (approx 3 hours). Check in to hotel and be picked up to take a Bangkok temple tour! Visit two of Thailand’s most famous temples, take a ride on the Chaophraya River, and finish your tour off with a tuk tuk adventure!
4 nights – 2 nights in Bangkok (in Khao San Road area) and 2 nights in Kanchanaburi (close to the River Kwai, with a pool).
All transportation between destinations and activities is included in your adventure, including the buses to and from Kanchanaburi and transport to each activity.
